AS Micro HE Series

Developed by Deutsch from its hugely successful AS Series, the AS Micro HE (Harsh Environment) is compact and cost effective. Available as a 5-way connector in four shell styles, the AS Micro HE is the preferred connector for the demanding environments of the motorsport industry. Deutsch’s dedicated Autosport Division is on hand to satisfy individual customer requirements.

AS Micro^Lite HE

Deutsch UK are continually assessing the requirements of the ever demanding world of motorsport, where weight and size are ever critical. Although the current Micro HE set a new industry standard some five years ago, due to innovative design with leading-edge materials, Deutsch UK have introduced the Micro^Lite HE, which sets a new standard for both space envelope and weight for an all aluminium connector. The new Micro^Lite HE is in excess of 30% lighter than the original Micro HE and approximately 8mm shorter, whilst still retaining all the critical features of the Micro HE including the renowned Deutsch #23 contacts, and remaining fully intermateable with the original Micro HE.

AS Composite

Following the outstanding success of the Micro^Lite HE connector, Deutsch UK have introduced a new concept for motorsport Micro connectors - the Autosport Composite. Shorter and lighter, this new connector offers a solution where space is at it’s most restrictive.

AS Micro Ultra^Lite HE

Following the outstanding success of the Micro Ultra^Lite HE connector, Deutsch UK have introduced a new evolution of Motorsport Micro connectors - the AS Micro Ultra^Lite HE. The shortest, lightest, AS connector, this new connector offers a solution where space is at it’s most restrictive.

AS Ultra^Lite HE

The first of a new technology in connector design, the new 5 way connector using the same shell as the popular Autosport Ultra^Lite. Now it is possible to use 5 wires in the smallest, lightest package in racing. This connector introduces a new size contact in line with racing teams now using smaller wire sizes.

AS Mini Series

Developed by Deutsch from the success of the standard AS and the AS Micro HE Series, the new Mini bridges the gap between the existing Standard Series (Size 8) and the Micro (Size 6) offering a 6-way and 3-way connector with 3 shell styles.
This connector has been developed to meet the demanding environment of the motorsport industry. Deutsch’s dedicated Autosport Division is on hand to help specify individual customer requirements.

AS Series

Developed by Deutsch from the MIL-C-38999 Series 1.5 (Eurofighter connector), the Deutsch AS Series is a range of medium and high density circular connectors designed to meet the stringent requirements of the autosport industry. Foremost of these requirements are enhanced performance with both weight and space savings. Available in a huge range with a wide variety of options, the AS Series features high density arrangements up to 128 ways with four shell styles, and five keyway orientations.

AS Heavy Duty

Single-way environmental harsh environment power connector. Most suitable for battery, alternator and starter-motor applications, this connector has been specifically designed for our motorsport customers‘ high power needs. This connector features a small space envelope with a flange option.

AS Micro HE Hermetic

As part of the continued expansion and enhancement of the AS Micro HE connector range, Deutsch has developed a new hermetic receptacle variant. This connector is totally unique and has been developed for the transducers, sensors and instrumentation markets where space and performance is critical. The AS Micro HE offers high density harsh environment sealing as standard, and is more compact than any other product currently available in the market. Mounting and ease of termination has also been a major consideration with PCB style contacts and weld mounting (316 S St) offered as standard.

AS Micro HE Hermetic (Jam-Nut)

A new evolution of our existing Micro Hermetic now features a jam-nut option. The connector is ideally suited to fuel tank applications and has been developed specifically for the demanding motorsport environment. Deutsch’s dedicated Autosport division is available to help with individual requirements.

AS Hermetic Fuel Tank

Deutsch has introduced a dedicated range of hermetically sealed connectors for Motorsport fuel tank applications. They provide a high degree of performance in harsh environments where normal resilient connectors would fail. This is achieved by using glass to metal sealing in place of traditional plastic and elastomer inserts. Connectors are supplied with a Viton® O ring to provide a high standard of sealing between the connector and bulkhead.

AS Micro Fuel Immersable

A new evolution of our existing Micro^Lite connector, which is able to withstand racing fuel. The connector is ideally suited to fuel tank applications and has been developed specifically for the demanding motorsport environment. Having upgraded the hermetic version and including an in-line receptacle, all internal fuel tank requirements should be catered for. Deutsch’s dedicated Autosport Division is available to help with individual requirements.

AS Rally Micro

An evolution of the successful ASL connector, the ASR has been created with direct input from the World Rally Championship. With a wider coupling ring with more knurling, this new plug enables mechanics to get better grip to connect and disconnect, whilst wearing gloves in severe environments (snow, ice and mud).

AS Filter / Fiber Optics

With ever increasing systems and equipment sensitivity, unwanted noise created by ignition and communication systems on race cars can cause the “Black box” designer a real headache. The Deutsch AS Filter connector range provides a high performance and space saving solution. By placing the filter elements in the “skin” of the equipment the RF window is minimised and RFI / EMI conducted interference is adequately attenuated.

Special Contacts

To complement our market leading range of harsh environment connectors, Deutsch’s Autosport team are able to offer special contacts for special situations. New technology allows us to offer thermocouple contacts in #22 for the Autosport range and #23 for the popular Micro^Lite connector. In addition we are able to engineer special solutions for different wire sizes on our regular contact range. Deutsch’s dedicated Autosport Division is available to help with individual requirements.
